Aint no April Fool, fool

Thursday, April 2nd, SoundCheck will be kicking. We’ve got a giant line-up with some familiar faces and fresh blood. As usual, we roll from 7pm. Pop in after work/college and grab some food with a €10 bottle of wine (I’ve tried all of the €10 wines available by now – yumsies – and am actually surprised at how nice they all are! You’d expect some plonk for €10, but they’re really good quality. Bang for yo drunk buck and all that.)

We’ll be hitting the floor til 2.30am, with Le Cirque of course rocking the situation upstairs from 11pm.

SoundCheck is as always free before 11pm and just a fiver after. For those squids, you get the freshest indie in town, serious fun, lovely people, a nice vibe, our legendary cup cake buffet (which may or may not end in a food fight), and visuals courtesy of werewolf movies and Sponge Bob Square Pants.

Woah! (in Cher’s voice)

Last night was CRAZY, y’all! Thanks to everyone for coming down, what a blast. Great tunes from YoCo, Ado aka The Cover Kid, Spaghetti Cat and then UnaRocks & Sarah Fox played until later. Amazing crowd, you guys ROCKED! There was some serious dancing (namely on tables), lots of yummy cocktails, Fight Like Apes popped in to say hisies and have some jaeger, Delorentos dropped by ahead of their set in a couple of weeks, the Le Cirque massive RAWKED it upstairs – all in all a savage, savage SoundCheck.

Major bear hugs to all the SoundCheck homies who came down last night, special love for the Thingboxen who made ThingCheck ROCK like YOUR MA. Yo yo, This Thursday, along with our friends at Thingbox.com we have a very special SoundCheck featuring Thingbox’s best DJs.

UnaRocks and Sarah Fox (SoundCheck) will be playing the freshest tunes and the best mix of indie, pop, rock, and randomness in town, Ian (Q&A) will be busting out his favourite indie, FionnTimes (SoundCheck) is bringing a serious disco party, Peter Fingleton (Lust) will defo be playing some of Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ new stuff,  and finally the awesome Philth (Backlash, PantiBar, eh, everything!) will be bringing the night to a climax of amazingness.

We’ve got the cup cake buffet, excellent food until 9pm, 2for1 cocktails until 11pm, and of course, the ROCKING LeCirque kicking it upstairs.
